Dockyard Micro Wood Carving Tools are back in production. Some great changes including USA sourced steel, hardening service by large specialty shop, larger print with sizes on each tool.  They have undergone several packaging changes as well so packaging varies with distribution system still having several packaging styles available.
This listing is mostly for 1 set of Dockyard tools - your choice which set that is, or as an option, you can order one set plus the sharpener set as
described
below. One item is for 2 sets -combined U-gouge and V-tool sets so a total of 9 tools.

Dockyard makes 8 different standard sets. I have an additional set called the Starter set which I have put together what I consider the most useful 5 tools.

All
the dockyard tools are approximately the same length- 5 1/4 inch long overall. Handle is about 4 inches and shank/blade is about 1 1/14 long.
The
Strop
Set is
custom made especially for Dockyard Micro Carving Tools
.  It is designed for all the U-gouges and V-tool sizes Dockyard made.
The Strop  set is made of  wood, the abrasive compound goes on the wood and does the work of sharpening. The wood has the correct shapes and sizes for the U and V tools. The Set includes the Denim Pouch to hold the Strop and one can of abrasive ( which should last you a very long time). This strop is not a necessity for the Bench, Skews, Paring, & Deep Plough as any strop will work for them.
