Antique Hand Carved Mahogany Cabriole Chippendale Eagle Claw & Ball Chair Leg

Description

One (1) reclaimed cabriole chair leg in the Chippendale style, made of hand carved mahogany. Was covered in heavy brown paint which has been stripped. Now needs to be finished.
Height = 7.5" not including metal tap on the bottom
Width at attachment = 4.5"

Minor scratches and dings commensurate with a century of use. Great piece for replacement/refurbishing, art or craft project, or vintage display.
NOTE:  Many species of mahogany are endangered and cannot be exported without documenting the source. Although this item is over 100 years old and was imported legally in the past, its source is unknown and thus it cannot be shipped outside the U.S. or its protectorates.
