    Description

    This is an antique cast iron 2 tier base that is somewhat adjustable. It measures 22" high including the oak top, the bottom tier is set at 8" the way it is pictured. The two tiers are interchangeable and can be adjusted in height as well. It was originally part of an 1890's school desk. We had some custom oak tops cut from some antique church pew seats we had, they measure 15 1/4" in diameter. The top arm is 14 1/2" in diameter and the bottom tier is 6" x 6". We did not apply a finish choosing to let the new owners decide on a color of stain or paint. They have not been attached to the base either as the depth can be adjusted some as well. The 2 arms will be removed for shipping purposes. We cleaned and painted them with a couple of coats of gloss black paint and will include a fresh can in case any touch up is needed after attaching the arms.  We also have a number of other similar legs presently listed.  Please e-mail with any questions.
